Meet the Spine & Rehab Staff

Dr. Christopher M. Renner

As a young adult, Dr. Christopher M. Renner was introduced to alternative medicine for whiplash pain relief as a result of an automobile accident. Inspired by the effective back pain relief treatments that he received, Chris began his career in the alternative medicine field by earning a pre-chiropractic education at Southwestern Illinois College.

Upon education completion at SIUE, he was accepted at Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri. Anatomy, human physiology and radiography (x-rays) were the focal points of Dr. Renner’s education. While interning at the South Roads Health Clinic, he learned to care for patients by learning to diagnosis and perform manual adjusting techniques.

Providing Lifelong Pain Relief
Shortly after graduation, Dr. Renner joined the team at Preferred Spine and Rehab in Fairview Heights, Illinois, and became a Titlist Certified Golf Fitness Instructor.

As a back pain specialist, Dr. Renner’s patient treatment goals at Preferred Spine & Rehab include:

• Quickly relieving back and neck pain
• Restoring Independence and Mobility
• Providing self-care knowledge to patients

Away from the office, Dr. Renner enjoys his time at in his Belleville, Illinois residence. Christopher is an avid outdoorsman; enjoying golf and fishing. When he’s not being one with nature, Dr. Renner enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy.
